The World Trade Center’s architect is Minoru Yamasaki. He built this building in New York City. The towers weren’t the same height. One tower was 1,368 feet tall. The other was 1,727 feet tall, but this one has an antenna. It had 13.4 million square feet of office space. It had The Windows of the World Restaurant on 106th and 107th floor of the north tower. While on the 107th floor of the south tower was the Top of the World observation deck. Explosion On September 11, 2001 the World Trade Center exploded. The explosion was caused by terrorist that high jacked two American Airline jets and crashed them into The World Trade Center. 2,993 people died in the explosion. |
